Final Essay

 

 

 

     As a result of looking around the blog of  students who are classmates during this summer semester 2014, I could have chosen three attractive articles written by three different students,  "Sweden proposes new bike path to copenhagen", "Iran nuclear deal still possible : Kerry" and " Denmark invests in green energy in Vietnam". I chose the first article from "serway8.blogspot.kr", the second one from "quietwish2014.blogspot.com" and the last one from "skdud5073.blogspot.kr". The first article is about new bike path to Copenhagen from  Malmö which will have six new connections across Öresund strait, including tunnels between Helsingborg and Helsingör, I am completely kind with policy for encouraging to ride a bike and hope that Korea also structure effective system for bike lane. And the second one states that US wants Iran to stop developing nuclear weapon despite Iranian officials have stated repeatedly and unambiguously that they have no intention of build nuclear weapon, I think that US should change their attitude and help Iran to fulfill the civil needs by generating electricity by nuclear power. The last one explain Denmark's investing in green energy in vietnam, the contents make us who read this article feel good, I am envious of the ability for green energy. These articles caught my fancy.

 

     I chose the first article of "Sweden proposes new bike path to copenhagen" written by Lim Jung Hyung for his blog project 2, because I totally agree with importance of encouraging to ride a bike instead of car. Previously, before I read this article, I always think that it will be a good policy to reduces air pollution and traffic jam. But at present we can easily recognize poor system for bike lane of Korea by looking around downtown in any cities of Korea. So I can't bury my envious feeling. If this problem is solved clearly, many people will choose bike instead of car for going to the office or university, then we can take a clean breath, see a flat street, reduce use of oil which is absolutely imported by other country, and take care of our healthy by everyday cycling.

 

     The second article, "Iran nuclear deal still possible : Kerry" is posted by Jang Ho Young in his blog for blog project 2, I chose this because my annoyed feeling against US who want to control other country's nuclear skill despite contradictionary fact that US has nuclear weapons. Reading the article, we can easily recognize Iranian officials explained their good purpose enough to cheer up them. Of course I know that the existence of US for peace about nuclear is important, but I partly disagree with their contradictionary behavior. It is obvious fact that nuclear is so dangerous, but I think use of nuclear for good purpose like Iran should be considered positively and US should pushfully help them as a great powers for nuclear.

 

     I chose the article of "Denmark invests in green energy in Vietnam" written by Kim Na Young in her blog for blog project 2 as the last one, because of envious feeling for Denmark's good deed and ability for green energy. Of course in Korea, green energy is going to be developed by many research teams, but it is not commercialized yet. Korea is much stronger than Veitnam, so people still benefit from strong supply of energy, but considering the future we also should be ready for green energy system. Moreover the fact that Denmark helps Veitnam caught my attention. I think all of people in the world should help each other to prosper together as a equal mankind without racism and conflict between countries, except noncooperative nation like north Korea.

 

     I have chosen these three articles for different topic because all topics are related to improvement of quality of human life. With encouragement for riding a bike, we can enjoy better environment in downtown, with use of nuclear by appropriate purpose, we can help many poor countries, and with developed technique for green energy, we can help the poor and prepare the future eco-friendly. I strongly hope that all issues in three articles above will be performed properly for a sight better future.
