Summary
West Papua is an island province that shares the island of New Guinea with the people of independent Papua New Guinea. That area is under control of Indonesian government and their people want to raise awareness of the gross human rights. A diverse line up of local musicians decided to help the west Papua. They will be playing at The Wine Cellar and Whammy Bar on Friday in a show of solidarity with West Papua's struggle. Funds raised from the show will go towards the expenses to bring West Papuan journalist and human rights advocate Victor Mambor to New Zealand.

2. 6.4 earthquake strikes Tonga
Summary
A strong 6.4-magnitude quake struck off the Pacific nation of Tonga in this morning. US seismologists said, but no tsunami warning was issued. The earthquake occurs at 3:52 am in northwest of the Tongan town od Hihifo. The earthquake epicentre was at a depth of 10 kilometers.
A sesimic activity of Tonga is considered that occurs by collisions between continental plates.

I think that the most dangerous and scary thing for human is natural disaster. And the earthquake have vibrations of ground and building, more than any other natural disaster it is dangerous. Reading this article I cannot stop to imagine the victim of it in Tonga. It is considered that Tonga is not an advanced country so I'm worried about the reaction by government for the victim. I really hope that the government will react appropriately then the damage will be minimized.

Summary
There is a women group against crime including murder and rape. They says the government failed to protect victims as the number of rape and murder cases continue to climb. Ms Ligo says her group is supportive of the Justice Minister, Alfred Carlot, who recently said he wants tougher laws against murder and rape. She says it is not just about changing the law, the most important thing is to find out why we continue to have all these rapists and murderers. Still women in Vanuatu are forced to carry knives to protect themselves.

Heavy criminal like murder and rape should be disappeared. Also in our country, Korea, it is always issued how punish the criminal. It is serious problem to punish them lightly, these judgment make victims more painful. I think that more strong punishment are much needed. It is only way to console the victim and reduce the crime.
